Polka Dot Jersey Package

This is a coaching package for riders that require a training schedule perhaps to take them to a goal such as the L'Etape d Tour or their first race/enduro event or purely to get fit.  Whatever your goal, if you want a straight forward training schedule without the extra coaching support, advice and training/performance monitoring, then this is the package for you.

You will complete a rider profile which gives me background information on you and explains your goals and advise me how much time you have available to train each week.  I will then prepare a schedule for you for a 3 month period.  This will include a description of the training and details of how to conduct a maximum heart rate test in order to ensure that you are training to the correct levels.

The cost for the first 3 month period is £200 and if you wish to purchase a further package thereafter, the cost would be £140.

Yellow Jersey Service

This is my premier coaching package for those riders that require a complete coaching package; someone to call on during the week and provide advice all year round.  Your training and racing performances would be continually monitored.  A relationship is built up between us as rider and coach, which ensures that you receive the highest level of support.

Firstly, you would complete "rider profile" and "lifestyle audit" forms.  These will provide me with details about you.  If possible we will meet up but this is not essential with the wonders of modern technology.

Next, I will prepare a day by day training plan structured personally for you to help you improve your limiters and work towards achieving your goals.  You will record data each day such as your resting heart rate, weight and other statistics which will help me assess how you are coping with the training.  In normal circumstances you will send me this data once a week.  However, I am at hand should unforeseen circumstances arise.

Along with your day to day training diary with clear instructions on exact training to be undertaken, including recovery periods and effort levels, I can provide advice on the following based on my own experiences through 13 years of cycling and the knowledge gained through my coaching qualifications:-

• Race tactics (including pacing for time trials)
• Recovery
• Mental strength
• Cross training techniques
• Choosing competitions/events
• Riding/pedalling technique
• Equipment
• Ergogenic Aids

I can help riders of all abilities improve but the most dedicated and focussed riders will be the highest achievers.

Cost of this service is £110 per calendar month payable in advance
